Buying in Spain

Frequently asked

Can foreigners buy property in Spain?

Yes. Non-residents can buy freely; you will need an NIE (foreigner identification number) and a Spanish bank account. We help arrange both.

What costs should I budget on top of the price?

Plan for roughly 10–13% for transfer tax or VAT, notary, land registry and legal fees. New builds carry 10% VAT plus stamp duty. (Indicative only; confirm with a lawyer.)

Can I get a mortgage as a non-resident?

Spanish banks typically lend non-residents up to 60–70% of the value. Our mortgage partners can give you an indicative offer before you view.

Which areas do you cover?

All of Alicante province: Alicante City, San Juan, El Campello, Benidorm, Altea, Jávea, Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa and inland villages.

Can I view properties remotely?

Yes, we offer live video viewings over WhatsApp or Zoom, and can send detailed walkthrough videos.
